- 삼엽삼(Panax trifolius, N.America)
- 베트남삼(安南参, Panax vietnamensis, Vietnam)
- 히말라야삼/삼칠삼(三七参, Panax pseudoginseng, Himalayas & China)
- 전칠삼(田七参, Panax notoginseng, China) ; It’s thin and soft.
- 죽절삼(竹節参, Panax japonicus, Japan)
